Contacts

What are contacts? Contacts are little pieces of clear plastic that are light and stretchy. Contacts work like glasses but other people can't see you wear them. They are nearly invisible to other people. They are specially shaped to match the shape of your cornea (the clear window in the front of your eye). You have to hold your eye open and place the contacts on your eye. It takes quite a while to learn how to put them on and take them off so don't expect to just have them on instantly. It will take some getting used to and the doctor will have to check them a few times to make sure they are safe and working right.
